Best Ever Flank Steak Marinade

Treat yo self this weekend with a tender and juicy Soy Ginger Marinated Flank Steak! I’m not usually one to recommend marinating steaks, however, this marinade is so flavorful, so delicious, that I’ve made an exception. This is my mom’s recipe and she has been making it for as long as I can remember. Anytime we get together, it’s always on the menu. The trickiest part is waiting to let it marinade for a minimum of 12 hours, but the longer the better! Enjoy!

Ingredients:
  • 1 and 1/2 lbs Flank Steak
  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons Ground Ginger
  • 3/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 2 chopped Green Onions
Instructions:
  1. Whisk together soy sauce, vinegar, honey, ground ginger, olive oil, and chopped green onions;
  2. Add the marinade and flank steak to a gallon size zip lock bag;
  3. Refrigerate for a minimum of 12-36 hours. The longer the better!
  4. Grill to your desired temperature. Medium-rare is best though ๐Ÿ™‚
  5. Serve with grilled asparagus and baked potatoes
